§ Charles Gilmer is the President of The Impact Movement Inc. The Impact Movement was incorporated in July of 2002.
§ Operation Sunrise Africa was the largest short-term missions mobilization of African Americans to Africa ever. The vision was to reach 50 million people, in 50 cites, in 50 days with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The mission of The Impact Movement is to take the truth of Jesus Christ to the campus, community and world by producing leaders of African descent who are spiritually focused, financially responsible and morally fit.
The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God's infallible written Word, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments.
The Impact Movement began as a conference founded in 1991. We are now a ministry reaching thousands of African Americans and people of African descent across the nation with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
